Thanks. I'm sick of this Core 2 Duo BS. I waited it out to see if it would be released fairly soon, and it hasn't so screw it. I know I'm going to be very happy with the purchase.

I have the same configuration, but I maxed the RAM out to 2 GB and it flies. It's a great computer.

I got Patriot ram from newegg and it works great. And there isnt a lot of reason to wait the performance increase on the new Core 2s isnt all that much.
