Yes, seriously dude. You are down to 8.13 posts per day over the last four years. What happened to you man?

This summer my average was up to 28 per day, and I was sure to stay off MacNN after work and on weekends...so in 40 hrs/week I was averaging 28 per day...that's still less than 4 per hour. These days I don't post as much, so I'm at like 16 or so. Just click a person's name and view their public profile. Zimphire still has a fairly high number, even though that name hasn't been using in quite a while.

Bear in mind that that's an average over the entire life of the account and that the "Kevin" account was dormant for a couple of years (correct, Kev?).

I think it was dormant a year. But I still haven't been posting that much.

I get more "Where have you been!?!" pms than anything. I hardly post in the PL anymore. If I do it's briefly on the weekends.

Like I said, I doubt I am even top 5. But really, this thread isn't about me. But I am flattered.

It topped out at 28 at one time I believe. There are people that have more than that right now.

Not sure, someone showed me a higher post not too long ago. Didn't pay much attention.

I do probably have the most POSTS however. Around 44k

32 some odd with Zim, 12 with this and probably 2 or so with the Sine account I registered in 2000.

There was a few other joke accounts no longer being used, but those posts didn't add up to much.

You are including the 5 in this thread alone right?

I wonder if there is any way to see who has posted in the most threads rather than who has simply posted the most.

There have been a few months here and there where I didn't post anything, but my average has always been about the same. (staying away from the PL helps)

edit: apparently I have started only 24 threads here. what about you guys?

I don't think there is ONE person know that consistently posts most.
It comes and goes in phases.

Those two digit numbers he speaks of are thousands of total posts, not posts per day. I've started 47 threads.

Kevin's been kind of forsaking us lately, so he's probably right that it's not him anymore. It certainly was at one point. Nowadays, it's probably one of the post-count whores.

I only really post in five (well, six counting PL) of the forums, so it's hard to tell who's racking up the posts in the Mac Modification forum or whatever.

It is kind of late, I didn't even think of reading it like that. I have been here long enough to know that those were thousands, I was just joking based on how quickly they accumulated in this thread alone.

I probably wouldn't have even posted in this thread had I not been mentioned many times. Funny how the two correlate.

Same with post counts. The very same people that used to bitch about how much I post, were also the very same people that constantly referred to my name in posts in here. Atleast back in the day. Now I think they have found other people to pick on now.

Ironic isn't it?

Well, I do tech support, so a lot of that is waiting for something to break. The other Mac guy watched downloaded TV episodes most of the day. When there's work to do, we're on it ASAP but until then there's not much to do. I also got REALLY good at the Halo demo online.
