Hi guys,

First time post and it's a bit of a moron question, I'm afraid. A month back I took the plunge and half-switched to an iBook (I use it at work and in school, but at home my PC has taken root so there's no dislodging it. Insiduous, eh). Now the problem is, I only got 256MB of RAM with it, and the Quark and Photoshop are begging for more power, so I'm going to bump that up to 640MB by purchasing a 512MB chip.

Now, could someone help me by telling me which one between the following 2 links is the right one for the new 800Mhz 14" iBook?

Either would work, although the new iBook only has an 100 MHz system bus so it couldn't take advantage of the faster speed of the chip listed first. But it would still work, the RAM would just slow down.

I'd get the first one as it'll be more usable if/when you replace the iBook with one with a faster system bus...
