It got updated to an Aqua look in 2000.

There's been a few minor but noticeable tweaks since 2000, esp with regards to the tabs and the color of the Apple logo.

I confess I've always been a bit confused as to why they've never had a big Mac tab at the top that would actually let you know where to go to find out information on all their products not just the new ones. I mean yes they have the hardware button but it's a lot smaller and insignificant looking.

The OS X part was updated a few months ago. My uncle worked on the template for the original Aqua site ( it was actually a side project during OS X developement).

I really wish apple would go back to the glass look, I am not a very big fan of everything "brushed alumium" Se, its even to hard to spel rite! Glass just wurks beter fur speling to!
