Well, not really, but sort of.

I am looking for a way of doing the following:
record telephone conversations on my G3 mac, edit the conversation, then convert the audio file into MP3.

I want to do audio interviews, radio style.

Any ideas or suggestions?

You need a telephone interface which should be available at your local Radio Shack. It will convert it to line level which you can input directly into your Mac's audio input.

You can edit audio with Quicktime Pro and there are shareware alternatives.
