Before I join ANY religion I need to know only one thing.

Who are we gonna hate and persecute?

Perhaps you're confusing these people with Steve Guttenberg?

Yeah, that would look bad ass - especially if it was the size of a dinner plate. It would say "this thing is so big and inconvenient, but I don't even care, that's how proud I am of my religion!"

Everyone should carry their plates every day.

Unless that is inconvenient.

If it is inconvenient maybe we don't want these people to be a part of our religion?

Wait... should we say that?

You should have missionaries, so I can go to Hawai'i and spread the word at your expense.

3) Would you be interested in joining my religion? The more people we have, the easier time we'd probably have with creating new holidays

I think they refer to themselves as "Besson's Fuzzy Wombats".

Actually, they seem to be worshipping you, me, and laminar at the moment though

Swiss Jesus Cheese?

That sounds deliciously sacrilegious...or is that only when you use it to make fondue?
What, me worry?

Hmmm... this one is better, maybe:

Perhaps we should add a little tag at the end that says:

"and you'll never get lemons again! .... Unless you like lemons, in which case we will hook you up with as many lemons as you can handle!"

Some people like lemons.

Our first hymn can be:

'Lemon tree, very pretty;
and the lemon flower is sweet;
but the fruit of the poor lemon, is impossible to eat."

People who like lemons can be an off shoot religion like Episcopalian to Catholicism. (Paraphrasing Robin Williams: Same religion, twice the lemons!)
What, me worry?
