"The Nissan Maxima then Sir. Much more subtle."

I do hope he fully recovers quickly. Everyone likes Morgan Freeman, he is sort of an international treasure.

A lot of the lesser roads in Mississippi are on narrow ridges; it's easy to have problems with them if you go off the pavement just a little bit.

He's said to have only a broken arm and some scratches? Hopefully this is true. Freeman has been one of my favorite actors for a long, long time.

When I first got a text message from a friend saying that he'd been seriously injured, I instantly thought "Batman curse!" I really hope he makes a quick recovery.

Broken arm and "other injuries," according to this story: Morgan Freeman.

Kathy Stringer, a spokesperson at The MED, said Freeman was listed in serious condition Monday morning. Bill Luckett, a business partner of Freeman's said the actor suffered a broken arm and had other injuries.
"Other injuries?" I respect Mr. Freeman's right to privacy here, but I'm really curious to see if he's going to be okay.

It probably means "other, less severe injuries." Getting in an accident that breaks your arm is likely to do some other damage as well, but it's not really necessary to talk about somebody's bruised tush and busted lip. I doubt they mean "He had a broken arm. Oh yeah, there's that bleeding into his brain too, but never mind that."

He's also not "young," so any injury is more serious for Mr. Freeman than it would be for someone say 20 years younger than him. Of course he might just surprise everyone and be out of the hospital in no time, and that's what I'm hoping for.

"Freeman's injuries included a broken arm, a broken elbow and "minor shoulder damage," but the actor "was in good spirits when I spoke with him a short time ago" at the hospital trauma center in Memphis, his publicist, Donna Lee, told Reuters in a statement on Monday."

The car belongs to his female passenger*, also injured in the accident.

*She is not his wife, for what it's worth.
But hey, if he is 70-years-old and still getting some play on the side, more power to him.

Turns out it is not some Hollywood BS. He and his wife have been separated since last December and are getting divorced.
See here for all the details.

I think the car was his friends, and he just happened to be transporting it.
