Louis Armstrong was the true King of Pop, not Michael Jackson

No, I don't... Worth checking out, I take it?
His point about how Pop music not only didn't really exist before Louis Armstrong, but that there was no concept of Pop music in other countries, only indigenous music was pretty interesting, I never really thought about this.

I always thought Mozart was one of the earliest pop stars.

I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

He wasn't a performer though, he was probably more of an early celebrity.

Id say so. Its a drum less trio, so just horn guitar and bass. Its Christian Mcbride and Mark Whitfield, so you know its gonna be a good listen.
