Take care ladies and gentlemens. I've been wandering around here since I was a teenager in the 90s, and since that time I've somehow managed to steal a couple university degrees, moved clear across the continent a few times, gotten married, and found something approaching a real job.

I always really enjoyed the creativity and craziness of some of the members here who could actually make, build or envision cool stuff, but they have mostly moved or been forced out; such is the nature of creativity and craziness, I suppose. (Also, I hope Lam finally finished his theatre room...that was a hell of an anticlimatic thread.)

I had myself blocked from the Pol Lounge a couple years ago, when I no longer had time to get involved in those massive threads, but always enjoyed the epic debates on climate change and world history and politics and so on - you know who you are, and thanks for the opportunity to discuss some great issues. And of course, to those of you with the quick-witted arsehole humour...there is nothing better than spitting coffee all over a keyboard, and I've probably done it more times than I can count; you people have made this place for me over the years.

I've always appreciated the advice you were able to provide - tons of help with computers and music equipment over the years, and of course more recently with some epic (ongoing) house renos; many thanks for all your suggestions and advice in so many areas over the years.

Like many of you I suppose I only arrive here out of habit over the past couple years; and like many better posters before me I suppose it's now time to move on, as the very small annoyances have finally started to outweigh my enjoyment. Maybe I'll check back in down the road sometime...hopefully, someone will have finally figured out how to make this place relevant again; there are so many other popular online forums around that I suspect it should not be hard to figure out what makes them so, if anyone still cares about that sort of thing.

Finally, I can no longer remember which poster gave me the statement for my sig - and Search doesn't seem to be cooperating at the moment - but I would like to give you a special thanks for what has proved to be pithy, enduring, and invaluable commentary. If I can, I will make sure They put you in the history books.

Hope you all do well in the future and I wish everyone great success and happiness, both here and in the Real World.

I was hoping to be remembered for my legendary sexual prowess.

Nobody ever mentions my legendary sexual prowess.

Toss me a G to finish up the sound deadening and it's done. Either way my neighbors are complaining that I shake their house.

Simple solution is to kill your neighbors.

Then make some Soylent.
