Hey Everyone,
Ever-since (it seems) the security update and 10.5.1 my itunes has been extremely jumpy, Since i got my Macbook Pro itunes coverflow has been flawless and smooth but recently has been spotty. Although it may be unrelated it also seems like my trackpad (and even mouse use) has been jumpy and not smooth as it was prior to these updates. Any ideas?

Are you sure its not re-indexing your spotlight data? Look for the dot in your magnifying glass on the top right of your screen, if the dot is there then just wait for it to finish.

I've also heard of the 'jumpy' bug in Leopard. It seems that the problem usually occurs after waking up from sleep, but I'd wager that it'd also affect lower-end Macs. It could also very well be a trackpad flaw, seeing as how most of the issues occur only with MacBook Pros; as the article I linked to earlier shows quite clearly.
