So, it would be totally sweet if there was a way that when you open themepark and select Merge with current theme (or what ever) if it could import the colored / altered theme instead of the base theme.

If this can happen now, please PM me as I am working on a project that needs an alternate color

If you are worried about infringements... It seems like people here are pretty respectful of such things as it is... for not releasing anyway

Thanks,

R

You're not going to like this, but in Tiger, you can use GuiTweak to shift a color, save it into the guikit file then import it into ThemeChanger.

For Panther, you're on the outside looking in.

GuiTweak is a very basic app, mostly to tweak colors. ThemeChanger is needed for more refined work as well as merging any graphic elements rather than just colors.

Well, what I was thinking is that I could get someone to use my theme, change the color for me, save it in the guikit, then I could open ThemePark, make a new theme and merge the newly colored theme... Then make the necessary changes for Panther use...Or what ever.

Looking in, but seeing a nice use for a Panther themer,

Your theme would also have to be Tiger compatible, I think.

Not really. I would have someone install as much as possible. Then I would make the rest of the changes manually. Really, using GUI Tweak in this way would save me about 2.5 hours of work...
