Has anyone had problems with adding the plug-in for adobe flash 8 or 9 on a MacBook Pro?

I don't believe Adobe Flash Player is universal.

There is a universal binary download link for flash player. My other question, what do I open flash player plug-in with. What application.

Where is that? The Adobe Flash Player download page specifically says "PowerPC only".

Also, Internet plug-ins go in /Library/Internet Plug-ins (or ~/Library/Internet Plug-ins).

If you try and download flash player on an intel machine, they give you a universal binary download link thats in beta.

exactly, you are linked to trouble shooting page for flash player 8.

thank you for your help guys, I got it up and running. Someone sent the file over AIM. Afterwards I inserted it into my internetplug-in folder.
