About midnight last night the bots stopped hitting my site, a directory with a lot of different organizations list, varied news items. It's only been up a few months while I've been developing more content and contributors: so I get 100 people-hits a day and 150-250 bot-looking (judging from strings of sessions generated within one minute).
I haven't done anything different or spam-linky faky or anything.
Anybody got any ideas?
[FWIW I've not done sophisticated SEO-tuning yet as I've been focused on content and feature-additions]

PS: Well the bots may not be hitting me, but googling for info on my front page still shows me high in the rankings... so I'm not *banned* -- yet the bots have been acting like *they* were banned :/
