I got ref'd to Matt Cutts' blog...
http://www.mattcutts.com/blog
which appeared to have been hacked by The Dark SEO Team, which had its link on his ?hacked? page:
www.darkseoteam.com
But that site seemed in turn to have been hacked by Matt ?¿? Like barbershop mirrors.
Did they just agree to off each other for April 1? Better look before it's April 2.

Well not "by Google".
Matt Cutts =/= Google ... even though he's a pretty central figure in their SEO development.

Well, apparently it started with Cutts - as Dark SEO now admits:
>>April Fool’s Day!
>>Par Vuln, lundi 2 avril 2007 à 23:22 :: Seo
>>After seeing the fake hack set up by Matt, we couldn't not spread the buzz and gave him a worthy answer.
>>Thanks you, Matt, for the wink, and congratulations for the buzz.
>>We managed to stay online, even with Matt's blog visitor storm and the digg effect. Phe4arr for our hosting
>>Good point on "nous sommes les propriétaires de toi", which may be as bad french as is our english : it gave us a good laugh nonetheless.
...
>>PS : we had no notice before the fake hacking occurred, as Matt wrote in his blog, and had no contact with him or his big beautiful - don't blacklist me - and brilliant employer.
