I am looking to buy an ipod shuffle (1GB) or a mini for my g/f for graduation. However I dont want to buy one of the new ones. So where is the best place to get an old generation one besides ebay?

I think the iPods should be spotless, but if you buy a computer, it might have some nicks...

If you have a MUGs in your area, many have classifieds. Good way to stock up. There's a ton of minis and shuffle available on the board in my town.

You can buy an iPod mini at the SFO airport from a vending machine on the international arrivals level.

try Ebay, and if they have it the buy now options, sometimes they sell new ones too. about 2 weeks ago they had a second generation ipod mini pretty cheap 6GB. but yeah if it has to be a 1st generation then they may have some too.

it has music on it but you can always delet it off of the ipod.
