I haven't seen it. I heard that it may have played just before the game.

Just watched it. No Apple ads. Commercials weren't that great in general, IMO.

Ha! I watched the entire thing with my PowerBook in front of me. Foiled that plan.

So, no Apple ad then? Maybe they took the Planet Express-route and bought an ad-slot during the Superbowl - on a different network.

i was expecting an ad as well.

even if it was nothing special (ex. the beatles/itunes thing), apple has usually put something on during the super bowl, and i expected at least an iPod ad. The past few years have been the pepsi/iTunes promotions, so I'm surprised not to see anything at all from apple.

The past couple of years were Pepsi ads featuring iTunes. I don't think they were Apple ads. Other than the famous "1984" ad, has there been another Apple ad during the Super Bore?

Well the Revlon commercial with Sheryl Crow did have a little tag line at the bottom of the screen noting that the song "Not Fade Away" was available exclusively on iTunes. Maybe that was the big announcement

That was all I saw. Overall, I'd say this year was a yawner, commercials and the game.
