Aside from mobileme's advertised push/cloud technology has anyone compared the two products.

While .me is going through some serious teething problems, I am underwhelmed by its offerings. The speed of the .me website is slow, painfully so, the lack of IE6 compatibility is an issue because the company my wife works for is still using IE6 (as I am as well). The difference I can install firefox, where as she cannot.

Has anyone with experience with google apps, such as their calendar and email have any opinions or thoughts regarding .me vs. google?

I had hoped to use the calendar portion of .me for the wife and I to synchronize our schedules but that won't be possible with .me.

MobileMe(ss) is about pushing to the phone; everything else is collateral.

I use Gmail/Google Apps with my BlackBerry and they work great; I don't see them working so well with the iPhone.
