Has anything been done about this? Is it even possible? I would love to have my mp3 collection in the car via my new iPod!

I too can vouch for the cassette adapter in the car. Works great. Avoid a radio frequency adapter in the car, although they work good on non-car radios.

Just tried my Car Cassette adapter last night. One word... Beautiful. It sounds so crisp and clear. The bass is thumping. And no I don't have an amp or anything. Much better sound quality than any CDs I've burned using iTunes or Toast. Perfect.

I've got the Sony CPA-9C Car Adapter. It's probably like 3 years old.
