My dad bought his MacBook Pro 15 inch a year ago. It is a great machine, however, he did notice there are keyboard mark on his display. Is that's a widespread problem in these machines or he is just unlikely? Has Apple done anything to address this issue?

Cheers

The marks will probably come off with a good cleaning. Plain water and soft cotton, especially don't use anything with ammonia in it and especially no paper towels since they tend to have scratchy stuff woven it.

Maybe he needs a screen protector?

Thanks guys, that sounds like a design issue, Apple is not planning to fix it? Is that's an issue in current MBP models?

Been an issue since the TiBook in 2001. Survived multiple redesigns.
