Very slick. Looks much cleaner than the original mockup, from what I can see, which is a good thing. I look forward to using it.

The gradient on that desktop is way too sharp, though. It really clashes with the subtleness of the menubar.

Can't wait to use it! My fingers are crossed for an iTunes appskin.

Does ProLCD include an iTunes appskin? Hmmm...

It would be fun to have an iTunes vis. plugin looking something like the bg in mac15's screenie...if anyone else would really be interested in that, I could probably whip something up after finals. iTunes visualizers are almost too easy with Xcode's template.

Any interest?

what did you use to capture this from the DVD?
I used Snapz Pro X it came with my powerbook when I got it with 10.2. It is a commercial product but has a demo. I don't know what demo limits, if any, there are. http://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/snapzprox/

Here's a pair of screenshots in anticipation of Zim being released on DVD. The desktop was created from Zim characters acquired from:
Room With A Moose & Gir
And because Max's Aluminum Alloy just seems to fit perfectly with a Zim Theme

Shapeshifter Theme: Aluminum Alloy(s)
Konfabs: Note Box, Sputnik, iTunes Bar, miniCalendar, miniWeather, miniToDo, Mail Candy
Apps: LauchBar, PathFinder, GeekTool, Synergy, SallingClicker, DragThing + WindowShadeX = No Apple Dock, etc...

And yeah the Destkops are a little busy..but I used a similiar setup when I was using linux.

Hi, mac15!

That new themeis looking great (I specially dig the window buttons which substitute the traditional x-+)

Anyway, think you might want to change the link. It is http://mac15.ambitiouslemon.com/snapshots/may8th.jpg not http://http//mac15.ambitiouslemon.co...ots/may8th.jpg

Regards.
