is there dvd player software available for the mac other than the crappy apple dvd player that comes with the system?

I agree that the DVD player on OS9 is lacking...in every category. Upgrade to OS X.....the DVD player in OS X freakin rocks!

I never had any problem with either the MacOS 9 or X version. However, I would like one will let me go to a specific chapter. (i.e. put a number pad on the controls).

There's a third version of T2 on the DVD that you need to go to a specific chapter to watch. You can only get to it by typing a numerical code or go to chapter 13. There is no way to navigate using the menus.
