That would be nice. I mean, we could organize them so we could get stuff easier. We could throw away the useless "files" we don't need. We could get rid of bad "files" so we don't have to think about them anymore. We could implement a to-do list, so we don't forget to do something (which I do a lot).
What if we had a search feature as well? Then when someone comes up to us and says, "Hi, it's been a long time!" you could search the face and instantly know who was talking to you.
What if HDs could hold as much as our brains? How big would that HD be? What if computers were like our brains? It would kinda suck to have it "forget" things, or hold a grudge when you do something it doesn't like.
What if?

I would swear at myself for being too slow. I would never know what I wanted to do. I'd screw up my projects royally and spurt gibberish if anyone asked what happened. I wouldn't know any grammar. I'd crash every night.

There are, in fact, many diseases where people's brains function much like a computer does. Most of time these people are mentally unstable (IE: Rain Man). I'll take my forgetful sane (sometimes) brain thsank you very much.
Plus imagine the incompatibilities between the Windows brains and the Mac brains. We wouldn't be able to walk and chew gum at the same time (unless we shelled out 130$ for the new X brain). And all the wiindows people would be ugly just like their OS.
Not to mention you don't want a general protection fault when flying a plane or diffusing a bomb....

I remember reading somewhere a while back that are brain functions roughly like a 20Mhz CPU. But because of the dynamic way our brain stores information in our memory we are able to function much faster. ie, we see an apple shape and then connect that to the macintosh which then leads to computer and so on...

who'd hit reset after a freeze?
would tech support be free?
when would there be an system upgrade?
would it be worth sacrificing performance for greater battery life?
if i ran osx, would there be enough apps?
would i be obsolete in two years?
what if my girlfriend leaves me for another os??
how often should i run techtool pro?
can i watch dvds while i run work apps?
probably important to backup regularly...
if i fell, will i still run well?
will there be a lot of harddrive noise?
can i get a bigger, quieter harddrive?
what else can i upgrade...video ram?
will i wind up on ebay when next years model comes out??
(can i stop this now?? yes. yes, i can)

Would we have fans or heatsinks?
How would we zap our pram?
I'd really like an internal clock (i'm always forgetting to put my watch on. OT: if you forget to put your watch on, why does it feel like you forgot something serious like, pants?)

As long as my brain isn't running Windows, I'm ok with this metaphor.

Well...
If my brain was like a computer...
I would be incredibly stupid (unless someone loaded everything in the wntire world into my head and then I would know everything).
I would need people to tell me what to do.
I would think in binary...
I would complain if something went wrong...
Any more???
