I can't import certain MP3 files into iMovie2.
Some work, some appear greyed out in the import file chooser.
Any ideas?

signatures are a waste of bandwidth
especially ones with political tripe in them.

Thats just the MP3 header misbehaving... same deal when you put some MP3's into Toast (it converts them for you).
Open the MP3 in QuickTime Pro and export to an AIFF.

Hi,
I wouldn't be surprized if the MP3 files that do not work do not have the Type/Creator info set (like what happens after getting them from a PC users f.e.). When you add the Type/Creator codes (by converting to MP3 in iTunes ...) you'll see that it works. I've had the same problem. Please report this as a bug to Apple. They should fix this, since they want to move more towards using file-extensions anyway.
