According to Simon's RAM guide, the Macbook I have, Penryn 9400M G Early 2009 white, can only support up to 6gb. I have a couple 4gb (1333MHz DDR3) sticks from a friend's new Asus laptop and I'm wondering what would happen if I use those in my white Macbook. Possible?

The (early and mid) 2009 MacBooks use DDR2 RAM. You can't put DDR3 in there.

Thanks, Chris. I guess I'm gonna just sell these and buy a couple of 1066MHz (or just 800MHz?) DDR2 4gb sticks.
