Does anyone have BOINC/SETI running on an Intel based Mac?
If so, which application/client are you using?

The reason I ask is that I'm getting a 50%+ invalid validation and therefore 0 credit. I don't want to proceed if all I'm going to do is annoy other users. I'm currently using the mac version of TruxCC and a G4 optimised app, but the standard Seti package that I started with appears to have the same problem.

Thanks.

check out this string on the SETI boards

http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/foru...d.php?id=27140

Then go to this area :
http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.p...sion=5.0&dev=1

The Macintosh GUI is a universal designed for the mac intel chip.

There currently is not a universal worker. However, the rosetta software works well. I'm doing one unit in approx. 2 hours and 46 minutes.

I'm running on a Mac Mini dual Core- 1.66 zh 512 memory.

I'm using the Boinc manager 5.3.24 version from the web site mentioned above. I've replaced the boinc in the package with the superbench, and added the fftt wisdom package.

let us know how you make out.

Thanks. I guess I'll just have to wait on S@H then. I've downloaded the universal beta but as you pointed out no universal worker available. (Copy of messages below)
