I'm curious what font you use in your editor window. A couple of years ago I happened across a font called Anonymous that I now use exclusively with Visual Studio and also with Xcode. I find it much easier on the eyes than the default Monaco font. Here's a comparison:

Monaco:

Do you have a favorite editor font?

Panic Sans 12 pt. I use it in Xcode, Coda, BBEdit, … everywhere!

Ooh, I like the Panic Sans (Google led me to the identical, I think, DejaVu Sans Mono.) Anonymous looks nice in your screenshot, Atheist, but somehow in my white-on-black TextMate theme it was a little busy.

Will you shoot me if I admit to using Consolas?
I also like Inconsolata (no relation, except vague inspiration)

I use Bitstream's VeraSans in TextMate.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

I like Monaco, but I bump it up to 12pt.

Panic Sans here too, or Deja Vu which is the same.

Not at all. While there are few things I like that come out of Redmond, I love MS mice, and the Consolas font. Its a great font, renders well, and leaves no room for interpretation when it comes to trouble characters like l/I, or O/0.
