Look at a standard Mac desktop keyboard, noting where the delete key is.
Now, look at the Phone keyboard in Messages and note where the Send button is.
Apple should know better than this. How many times have I hit "send" reflexively while reaching for a delete key that's not there? I don't even know. Does this drive anyone else nuts?

I'm pretty sure Fitts' law deals with the ease of acquiring targets based upon size and distance, and by inference, the infinite depth of screen edges and corners.
What you're talking about isn't even muscle memory, but more of a habit thing.
On iPad, there is an actual muscle-memory issue, because the special keys and things are not in the same place as on a regular keyboard.
Both annoy me.

Well, so long as I'm not the only one that's noticed this -- it's kinda maddening. I mean, Delete & Send are utterly opposite tasks.
