Hi

Is it possible to configure the built in airport on my macbook so i can use the iremote whilst away from my home network. Ive tried creating a network but no success!

I assume by iRemote you mean Remote. If so, the answer is no.

Sorry i did mean Remote... thats a shame that you can do it with out a router!

Well basically it just searches for computers within the range of its wireless card. It is limited, but for being free, I'm not complaining

Why would you want to control your music at home while away?

LOL its called VNC on your Mac with iTunes up and running.. Turn the music up when your away from home.. I did this many times to my neighbors that lived below because the never knew how to turn the stereo off at 3 am.. so when i would drive the 100 miles to my parents id log on to my mac remotely and give them veggie tales for 4 hours or so.. Cops could never figure it out they thought the house was haunted
