i know u can make CD's that can be read by both OS X and Windows, but what i want to make is a CD that will show up different burns in OS X and in WIndows so i can have a different set up for each OS, can it be done?

With Toast, yes. I'm not sure if this is possible with other tools.

thanks steve, just got toast cause i had a feeling if u could do it with anything it would be toast, do you know personally how to do it? all i can see from a glance is the dual format burn which i believe in on burn when both OS's can read... any ideas how i would go about doing a mac only and a windows only session on the same disk?

When you insert a disc in Toast, go to File-->Save As Disc Image. This will create a .toast file which will then allow you to do future burns for both platforms. (I tested this on my Diablo II discs and it works fine).

I would suggest.... that you should probably acquire it legally then.

If I'm wrong and they do offer legal downloads, check their website.
