I've recently bought a G4 Quicksilver(2001) from a yahoo auction.
The specs are:
867 Mhz G4 processor
512MB of RAM
40GB 5700RPM Ultra ATA 66 Hard Drive
CD-RW Drive
Nvidia Gefore2 Graphics card
Apple Display and VGA conector
10/100/1000 Bate-T ethernet
Two 400 Fire slots
Two USB Ports
Builtin 56k Modem
New keyboard and mouse
it listed as being very little used and in new condition
I paid $425 for it with free shipping. I'm just curious b/c this is my first mac. I searched for a while and at least thought it was a good deal.

Absolutely. Most of the used mac retailers are getting 7-800 + for those. That machine should be plenty upgradable, too.
Enjoy!

It's such a good deal that I'd be skeptical of the "very little used and in good condition" description the seller provided.....

Frankly, if it's clean and hasn't been physically abused, even heavy use wouldn't matter.
