I love having rich neighbors. Last year I set up three new computer (two eMacs, and a PC with an LCD) at the same time. Today she came to my house with two iPods and a Phillips MP3 player to give to her daughters. I got to charge them, put their music on them, and play with them. The iPods are amazing! I may have to get one. Is it bad to leave the iPods charged until Christmas? Should I drain the batteries and, recharge them closer to Christmas?

there are quite a few docs at apple about ip[od batteries...guess it has been a bit of an issue...heheheh.

according to this article "Even in sleep, iPod uses a small amount of current, and the battery slowly empties. Stored at optimal storage temperature, the battery will empty in 14 to 28 days."

iPods use a shitload of power when they're off.

Pisses me off majorly... I wish there was a way to turn it off.
