CNN: Palin's reckless views on obesity.

Look lady, people are criticizing you because you're an idiot. It amazes me how stupid this woman really is. No one is advocating government "taking over" anything regarding this problem. This is the "Just Say No" campaign of the day. Quit being such a melodramatic fame-whore about every little thing and maybe people will take you seriously.

Wait, that can't happen. Palin is incapable of changing her mind.

She'd have an argument if it related to the funding of the program, but public service announcements from celebrity/media type figures is nothing new.

I'm not surprised you don't see it. Most people don't see themselves performing very actions they hate.

No, he's just picking a random fight because he can't sort out and express his feelings properly that most adults can that seem to involve some sort of grudge in various people, including you evidently.

Every First Lady has a cause: just say no, obesity, literacy, etc.

Michelle Obama isn't trying to ban our Oreos, just make school lunches better and teach kids about nutrition. I can't see a negative for this.

I wonder if they'll be teaching the parents and kids that the hormones loaded into US meat trigger early puberty and hormone imbalances, and thus is banned in the EU?
Somehow, I don't think so.

I love it when conservative talking heads complain about nanny statism while being completely oblivious to the nanny states *they* wish to create.

Sarah Palin - Abstain from sex until marriage
Michele Obama - Abstain from unhealthy food

Sarah Palin to Michele Obama: "leave us alone, get off our back and allow us as individuals to exercise our own God-given rights to make our own decisions"

I think Bristol Palin is having problems abstaining from both sex and food.
Bush Tax Cuts == Job Killer
June 2001: 132,047,000 employed
June 2003: 129,839,000 employed
2.21 million jobs were LOST after 2 years of Bush Tax Cuts.

Another reason to hate Amerikkka: It hasn't bombed Canuckistan yet.
Hey, Amerikka - Canada just called you a poofter. You're not going to let them get away with it, are you?

Alright, let's consider the article source. Does this quote seem wrong to anyone else?
Children are less active today than at any other time in American history, spending 7.5 hours a day watching TV, playing video games or simply involved in efforts that don't require movement.
Wait, is that Ms. Obama's quote? Is she using the word "effort" incorrectly?

Bottom line, we need a lot more personal responsibility, and the liberal agenda is at large trying to hamper that and put more influence in the government sector.

I'm going to have to disagree somewhat. Palin is certainly not "stupid". Uninformed? Oh yes. Unable to speak on anything but the most banal conservative platitudes? Most definitely. But stupid? Certainly not. This woman is making millions by telling certain people what they want to hear. To those who are already predisposed to paranoia about the "government", Palin likening the First Lady's encouragement of kids to eat healthier and exercise more to a "government takeover" is like manna from heaven. And it doesn't matter that it doesn't make a bit of sense. It doesn't matter that she and the facts are on opposing teams. She's made the calculated decision to quit being a politician and to become a political celebrity. And she's going to ride that till the wheels fall off .... all the way to the bank.

"Sarah Palin's 17-year-old , unmarried daughter is five months pregnant, the campaign has announced. Hoping to quell internet rumors about about her youngest son, Palin released the news about her daughter Bristol earlier today."

she can't manage her own family, what can she manage?
