MyTV USB TV Tuner - limited recording time?!

Hi there,
Info: i have a G5, 1,8 GHz, enough hardddrive, no energy save-settings active and installed the MyTV/x V.2.2.1 for my MYTV USB TV Tuner.
After a recording-time from about 1hr40min the record stopps...no matter if i use a time (over 1.40) or leave the record-time-option blank...after about 1hr 40 min the recording stopps?
Does anybody knows that problem too?
And even has a solution?

How much space does the file need after 1.40h of recording?

Hi,
the file needs about 3,5 GB...
I've also tried other compressions, but the same

When using other compressions, did the recording also stop at 3,5GB or after 1h 40m?

Check your preferences. ISTR that recording times out after a user-specified time. By default it's an hour.
