How come they don't make Muumuus for men?

They look like they would be very comfortable. I'd wear one, at least around the house.

Interesting..usually the women who wear mumu's use a pudding-shaper as a facemask
that's about as much as I know about these people

I think it's time that men reclaim the muumuu from the stigma of being for fat ugly women. It would be very comfortable to wear around the house, and I think that if you had one that wasn't all floral and girly it would be more unusual than feminine (for guys who worry about this sort of thing), whereas dresses and skirts are exclusive property of women, save kilts.

I say "reclaim", because I don't know if men ever wore muumuus somewhere in the history of the world.

Yes, if it is okay to wear them in hospitals, why not elsewhere?

This thread has, through Wikipedia, given me a far greater understanding of the line, “At 3 A.M., Eternity rang; she knew what time is love; it was her, she said, who killed the Jams”.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't wear a regular muumuu dress. I mean, you are weird enough, a women's dress couldn't possibly be any distraction from it

At 3 A.M., I'm asleep. I don't need Wikipedia to tell me that....

I'd rather my muumuu be designed for me and my curves, and having my own stuff on it would be nice too.

There is no Linux flavored muumuuu, troll.

Your face is fugly, and I suspect that because of your trolling this thread will be locked.

God forbid anyone troll an attention-whoring thread about MUUMUUs. You also want a shower cap and some ratty slippers to go along with it?
Sell or send me your vintage Mac things if you don't want them.

Why are you yelling the word "muumuu"? This thread is getting to be pretty stressful with everybody yelling at me and hating me.

I wouldn't mind a shower cap to go along with my muumuu thread though, thanks!

Suxx to be you, I guess

Did someone force you at gunpoint to make this thread ?
Or did you really expect this thread would turn out differently than it did ?

The point of a muumuu is that it is the only thing you can wear when you are 500 pounds. Whatever pattern on it, guns or flowers, is immaterial as long as it distracts from you.

What you are looking for is a housecoat for men. Unless you want to gain 500 pounds.

I'd just like to know what happened that made besson think of posting a thread in the Lounge about muumuus.

BTW, I didn't have a ****ing clue what a muumuu was before reading this thread.

Phish drummer Jonathan Fishman also occasionally wears a muumuu on stage.
