I cannot get the sound out of my internal speakers.

When I open System Preferences and go to Sound under Output, it only lists "headphones" as an option.

Any fix?

well...is anything plugged into the audio out jack?

try "zapping the pram"

(command-option-P-R on startup until you hear three chimes).

I hope your machine is under warranty: the same thing happened to mine and the logic board is being replaced. Good luck.
