So I finally got around to watching last Sunday’s CBS morning show on Tivo and one of the reporters did an op-ed piece on something I must have missed in the newspapers last month when it was announced

I can’t decide if it is more pathetic or stupid at this point, but some part of me that remembers going to Six Flags as a little kid and being excited to take pictures with the characters feels terribly offended by this thing the Warner Brothers corporation has done. MJ and Dharma I could ignore because it was silly. This on the other hand is just wrong.

Having heard the voice now, yet another little piece of me has died over this. I'm going to run out of pieces soon.

That said, this cartoon pretty much sums up my feelings on why this happened (warning: audio is very NSFW).
You are in Soviet Russia. It is dark. Grue is likely to be eaten by YOU!

Don't watch it. Don't patronize their advertisers, if it offends you that much. Free-market economy, and all.

When a true genius appears in the world you may know him by this sign, that the dunces are all in confederacy against him. -- Jonathan Swift.

That cartoon was one of the unfunniest things I've ever seen. That's 30 seconds of my life I'll never get back.

Yes, they should leave the originals alone.
