Is there anyway to delete songs from the iTunes main Library when you delete a playlist?

It's kind of a pain sometimes to have to delete teh playlist, then go into the main Library and delete it there also.... ?

When you delete, don't you get a dialog asking if you want to delete the song files as well ? I do.

Try using cmd-delete.

This only happens when you are not deleting from the context of a playlist.

ahhh .. didn't see the "playlist" part of the original post.

I select all the songs in the playlist (apple A) and then I change the artist or album (doesn't really matter) to "delete". Then I go the my library and search for delete. Everything that comes up I delete.
