Hey i'm using a metallic brush theme with ThemeChanger. The tooltip is still a bad off white/yellow background with black text. i want to make it black on gray or gray on black to match my theme.

Any ideas?

jeez, in windows there is an easily accessible option for it. there's gotta be some way to hack in a change, its just a color.

It's probably buried somewhere deep in the AppKit framework's code. So unless you go change some hex value to make it a new color, or someone writes a haxie to change it, you're probably out of luck.

if changing a hex value somewhere is all it takes, that'd be awesome. i want to know where that hex value is though.

Finding the hex value to change is a big bad idea, well if your method to finding it will be trial and error it's a real bad idea...

Hard at work on CSSEdit at the moment, but I've got an idea brewing for a new app. If you feel like passing ideas, jan [at] macrabbit [dot] come is always available
