First, out of the blue, Dreamweaver opened a window with a message :
The following translators were not loaded due to errors: ASP.htm: has configuration information that is invalid. JSP.htm: has configuration information that is invalid. PHP_MySQL.htm: has configuration information that is invalid. XSLT.htm: has configuration information that is invalid.
Then, from the Macromedia Support Forum, I was told the 'fix-it' was to delete the file
Library/Application Support/Macromedia/Dreamweaver
8/Configuration/MacFileCache-*.dat.
But now I notice a whole load of my files are filled with this :
„
é«îçÃÛßBXU^ܪΓ¢IQtâ¨!_Ãþç 0¢;Íó³¼³™ØB<°XNzÈòëT>‚Nà” Æ©Í´cEåN…-'2HÖ@FfsÁ‹Q]¶9ü2Îˉ«ce”縢ēŒ>ƒCb|§±+Ïÿþæ\%Î&«« ŸºzŸ²~æ-„ž$†;é‚9ÕX,E˜ÀW«…䮃 * .-ùÛj8BW32÷")i^·Ê—~:9•\ÊÛò?z]íØØ_äEæù5¿õº‡v@Êu†)‚@ŒÏÙn

Although Dreamweaver is now working properly, is there any way I can recover my files?
Help please.
