the shadowed or ghosting text bug? its listed in the bugs list thread. has it been fixed? its there a fix? Why hasn't apple fixed it yet? Its soooo annoying.

That doesn't do anything.
The issue is when you have some text in the terminal for a period of time and you clear the window, it looks like the text has 'burnt in', a ghost of the previous text remains.
