Help me,
I have Sony Handycam Micro DCR-7E that can't run/connect in my powerMac (both OS 9 or OS X), which I can do it well in my friend's Notebook (PC).
Please help me, I have my homework must to do with that stuff. Thank before..

The DCR IP 7E camcorder uses Sony's MicroDV format and MPEG compression rather than the standard MiniDV format. In order to be able to edit this Sony provides software that runs on a PC.

Sony do not provide Apple compatible software.

These cameras have been discussed on these, and other, boards in the past. I don't see any support for them in the near future.

I've recently bought a DCR-8E which works fine with iMovie.
