I currently have a Rev A 12 inch PB. Can any of you please provide feedback as to how the new one (Rev B) compares.
Does the Rev B run nearly as hot as the Rev A model?
Considerably faster?
Does anyone use the PB with an external monitor? I am looking into getting a 17 DVI LCD.
Thanks,
Brian

Not a lot faster. I don't own one but I did play with one at CompUSA. Slightly faster, but thats mostly due to the increased cache. If your thinking of trading your rev a it wouldn't be worth it. If you ask me it would be quite stupid. Macintosh systems retain value for quite a long time. If you do a lot of video work or something where you need the speed perhaps you would want to wait for a G5 PowerBook in 10 months maybe from now. Otherwise this is going to be like the G4 towers for awhile. Minor upgrades to keep the books healthy.

Is it safe to say you were happy with the 12" rev B, with no complaints? I assume you sold the 12"er because of the job giving you a 15"...

AssassyN, if that Shelby Mustang is yours, I will hunt you down and steal both your car and your AlBook.
