I tried to search on this, but got an error from MacNN.

The Help application loads, displays a blank window, and then quits. It only does this on one user; I checked on the admin user and it's fine there. So I assume this is a corrupt plist file somewhere? But where? Any ideas?

It could actually be a cache problem:

Delete ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.helpui to see if that solves the problem.

Preferences are:

com.apple.help.plist
com.apple.helpui.plist
com.apple.helpviewer.plist

in ~/Library/Preferences
