Hi

I have some photos which I feel might work well as postcards. Although I'm not getting my hopes up, people have suggested I have a proper stab at this or even investigate the possibility of selling the images to the likes of Ikea for stock posters/canvasses.

Assuming the images are in with a chance, does anyone have any advice about this process? The images were taken in Brazil and have a particular feel which might suggest a niche - how would I pursue this? Has anyone sold their images for postcard design or similiar?

I'm based in the UK.

Do you have model releases for any/all people recognizeable in the photo?
Have you cleaned out all trademarks?
Do you have a property release?

These are the kind of things I'm hoping for some advice on.

Most of the images don't contain people but those which do could be cleared. The trademarks may be an issue - I have a macro shot with pairs of flip-flops piled up. Haviana may have something to say.

Any advice appreciated.
