I have a friend that doesn't like the fact that she can't find her windows like in Microsoft Windows. She doesn't like using F9.

Tell your friend to use Command-Tab. Using that, your fingers are in the same configuration on the keyboard with Mac as with Windows Alt-Tab, to switch from one application to another.

So something that serves the same purpose as two other things, but not those other things.
Your friend is very picky.

Command Tab doesn't switch windows, only applications. WindowFinder just mimicks Microsoft Windows most accurately with the way it groups its windows by application in the task bar.

you said using "F9." I don't know if you mean this literally or if your friend doesn't like Expose. If it's the first, she can always set one of the corners to activate expose.

It's a dislike of Expose, not the hot key. I should have made that clear. This is why I don't tell Windows users to switch to Macs unless they are willing to learn new things. Unlearning Windows is the hardest part.

How could you dislike Exposé? This is not believable. Exposé on a screen corner is the most convenient thing ever.

Anyone that dislikes expose is a douc he that probably shouldn't be using a computer anyway. After about the 10 minutes it takes to familiarize your self with it, it becomes about 5 times more efficient and effective than using a tool bar style window selector.
