application audio won't play through my digital audio card

	Hey everyone. I have a dual 1.25 ghz MDD powermac, and running os 10.2.8. I recently got a new audio card for my recording studio setup, 24-bit audio.. It's teh mia midi from echo audio. Everything runs fine except for the fact that itunes is the only app that plays sound through my sound card.. so now streaming media, anything of that sort will only output from my integrated audio. This is despite the fact that I changed my audio output settings to the new audio card. Anyone haev a suggestion to fix this issue? thanks in advance.
