Hi,
I'm running a 15" MacBook Pro with 2 GB RAM and a 2.33 GHz processor. For some reason, “/System/Library/Extensions/IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext" cannot be loaded by the system. When I start up, it gets to the desktop than says it was installed improperly and it cannot be used. It lets me use my computer (I'm doing that now), but I need to know how to fix this. My OS CD is currently in storage, and I won't have it for another ~18 days.

Can someone tell me how to fix this, or post a backup from their computer? Thanks so much!
