I haven't been able to set up 1280x768 resolution in 10.2.3

Maximum resolution available is 1024 x 768, 75mhz

Yet when I switch to 9.2.2 I'm able to run in widescreen mode 1280x768 @ 60mhz

I have a Samsung 1775w hooked up to Dual G4 800

Any ideals would be appreciated.

Have you unchecked "Show modes recommended by display?"

Let's see, system profiler says it's a GeForce2 TwinView.

Yes, I've tried unchecking the recommended box, just gives me an additional 640x480 option.

It's strange in that system 9 recognizes that I can run in widescreen yet OSX doesn't.

There's a program called SwitchRes X that might let you get your 1280x768 back. I think it'll let you pretty much try out any resolution you want, so you might want to be careful with this program.
