move them to another mac? I was under the impression I could redownload them from my home computer? Do i do the obvious and burn them? or can I redownload them?

Just copy them like any other file -- over file sharing, Firewire Target mode, iChat file transfer, whatever floats your boat.

You'll have to enter your Apple ID password (and connect to the Internet) to be able to play them on the new Mac.
