What Version info do you see for Safari?
I did an lsbom on the update package and inspected the archive: I claim there is a new version of Safari included!

Does it now say v100.1?

Funny they did not mention that in the release notes

Safari is probably statically linked against either (or both!) OpenSSL or zlib, so it would be no surprise that they would have to recompile it and include it with the patch. There is probably NO other changes.

I get Safari 1.1.1 v. 100.1 while running 10.3.1

Any Apple-connected people know if it addresses the Mozilla cookie problem?

If there was any changes made to it other than a recompile, I would think they would change the build number, ie to something like v110 instead of v100.1.

I think it must have included something with Safari, I got a 'Do you want to update the keychain' sheet in Safari after the restart.
If it did update Safari, then something else significant has happened. My safari app is in Applications/Internet and it was still updated
